The Present and Future

Charlie is cutting back on the dog training and letting his granddaughter, Grace, take over more of the training. Grace started working for the kennel in 2008 walking dogs and cleaning kennels on the weekends and summers out of school. Grace started working for us full time in 2016 and completed a work study with Charlie to learn to train dogs in 2016-2017. In 2018 Grace started training dogs for Charlies K-9 Camp but wanted to further her knowledge in dog training methodologies and then went on to complete Highland Canines 6-month school for dog trainer’s course. While there Grace learned all the different methods to train a dog and learned how to train service dogs, police/military dogs, different types of detection, dog sports and behavior modification. While attending Highland canine Grace learned her passion for people to truly enjoy their dogs by building their relationship. Grace has 3 dogs of her own which include a 6-year-old Shepherd mix, Greta, a 16-month-old German Shepherd, Desi and a 9-month-old standard Dachshund named Boogie. Grace has a passion of all animals, here are some animals you might find wandering her house besides canines. Cats, Goats, Chickens, Rabbits, Tortoises, Snakes, and Tarantulas! Oh my! Grace is back to training full time at Charlies K9 camp.
